Genius MAP is a child development program based on Soroban which is an ancient math calculation tool used in Japan and many other countries, thousands of years ago.
Soroban have been part of the school curriculum in Japan for many years. During this period, the Japanese population showed strong skills in the basic fundamentals of the thinking process. With calculators and computers, the use of Soroban has declined. And then there have been concerns that the general population is losing valuable skills in various domains of life.
In 1989, the Japanese Ministry of Education reintroduced Soroban into the elementary school curriculum.
Based on these facts, a group of Lebanese and Japanese researchers, have developed Genius MAP that improves brain power in children aged 4-16.
Genius MAP generally develops an ability to master the skill of solving problems mentally. Moreover, it improves the child's memory, concentration, judgment, observation, imaginative & creative thinking, logical, analytical & reasoning ability and time management skill. All these abilities and skills will help the child improve overall academic achievement.
Genius MAP is tailored to the needs and interests of every student regardless of his ability level and learning style. It aims to enrich the educational process and make a valuable difference. Therefore, the team of Genius MAP is carefully selected and highly qualified. The small groups in the classroom deliver personal attention and custom learning plans for each child. Computer technologies and games are integrated into the program in order to enhance children interest level. The whole learning environment encourages enthusiasm, curiosity, confidence and self-reliance in every session.
